Two Brooms, and the Width Is the Real Difference
The smaller broom in this set is not a little stair brush or handheld attachment. It is a full-size floor broom with a 12.5-inch head. The second one is full-size too, but stretches to 18.5 inches across.
That extra width changes where each one feels useful. The 12.5-inch broom is easier to move through ordinary rooms, around furniture, and across smaller sections of floor. The wider broom covers more ground at a time, which makes more sense when there is a large rug, an open living area, or a broad stretch of flooring to work through.
You do not have to decide that one broom is “better.” They are simply two sizes of the same basic idea.
Carpet Hair and Hard-Floor Messes Are Different Jobs
On carpet and rugs, the rubber bristles can be pulled through the surface to gather loose pet hair into piles that are easier to collect. The same heads can move back onto hard flooring for hair, dust, and the ordinary debris that ends up around the house.
That is where this set earns its space. One minute the problem is fur on the living-room rug; later it is hair and dust across the kitchen floor. There is no need to pretend a rubber broom replaces every other cleaning tool. It just gives you a manual option for the jobs rubber bristles are suited to.
Both Handles Adjust
Neither broom is stuck at one length. The telescoping handles can be adjusted, with the full length reaching roughly 60 inches.
A shorter setting can be easier when you are working in a tighter room or storing the broom away. Extend the handle when you want the reach of a regular full-size floor tool.
The difference between the two brooms stays at the head: standard width on one, extra-wide coverage on the other.
There Is a Squeegee on the Other Edge
Flip either broom head over and there is a straight squeegee edge. It gives both tools another job when a small spill needs to be pulled together or a suitable smooth wet surface needs attention.
It is a useful extra rather than the main reason to buy the set. These are rubber brooms first; the squeegee simply means the opposite edge does not go unused.
When the heads collect dust and hair, rinse them clean and let them dry before storing the brooms. On delicate, newly finished, or unfamiliar flooring, test a small area first rather than assuming every surface finish will respond the same way.
